Trekking in Talampaya National Park

Eco-trekking Talampaya

Our trekking in Talampaya National Park offers the opportunity to discover a very beautiful and unknown part of the park, the “Quebrada Don Eduardo”, which is only accessible by foot, therefore offering a privileged site for wildlife observation, particularly condors.
This walk will take your imagination to a far away world when standing at the foot of the gigantic red walls, when making your way among the incredible coloured rock formation or again at the sight of the impressive “Gothic Cathedral”, on the other side of the Talampaya river bed which will be our path to follow through the Canyon.
We’ll get to know the local flora at the “Botanic Garden” where we’ll also experiment the amazing sound of the echo in the “Chimney” which surely won’t miss to surprise you.
The path will then lead us to the “Awada Cave” where our ancestors used to get shelter and to finish, we’ll be able to admire the way they expressed themselves through the numerous carvings left on the rocks, over a thousand years ago.
A magical journey in time. You will not only see the park but live it.
Knowing it this way also contributes to its preservation, avoiding pollution in a protected natural area.
